On 1 April 2026, Kotesh documented olive ridley sea turtle hatchlings emerging from a nest at a protected hatchery along the Nellore shoreline.
The close view of a hatchling on the sand brings a conservation story down to its smallest subject. It sits alongside his wider environmental coverage of the coast, livelihoods and changing conditions in South India.
