Sport compresses a story into a moment: the swing of a bat, a contested header, a motorcycle suspended above the track. Kotesh’s selected sports photographs cover events at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium and Gachibowli Stadium.
The series includes Sunrisers Hyderabad players Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan, India’s Manvir Singh in an international football match and Tyler Bowers competing in the Indian Supercross Racing League.
Photographs and field captions by Jwala Kotesh. Story introduction adapted from the portfolio.
